Instant communication, right where you need it

The Motorola CB900D Digital Call Box turns a single button press into immediate, two-way communication across your facility. It bridges the gap between fixed locations and your mobile team, connecting customers, visitors or stationary staff directly to your existing Motorola 900 MHz radio fleet.

Whether it's a customer needing help in a fitting room, a delivery driver at a back gate, or a parent at a school reception, the CB900D ensures the right person is alerted the moment it counts.

Works with the Motorola 900 MHz radios you already own

The CB900D integrates seamlessly with existing Motorola Curve, DLR and DTR radios. There's no costly infrastructure to install, no licensing required, and no new radios to roll out. The unit operates licence-free on the 915–928 MHz ISM band in Australia and New Zealand, and is ready to deploy out of the box once programmed to your channel.

One device, two operating modes

The CB900D adapts to how your team works. Through PC programming, the same hardware can be configured as either:

  • One-way call box: a short press sends an instant help alert with an optional assurance voice message back to the user. Ideal for service call buttons, fitting rooms, restrooms, accessibility points and standard assistance requests.
  • Two-way call box: press and hold to open a live voice channel between the user and your radio team. Suited to gates, loading docks, school receptions, and any location where staff need to speak directly with the person making the request.

Built for the real world

The CB900D is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, with a wide operating range of -30°C to +60°C. It can be mounted on a wall (bracket included), set up as a desktop unit, or fixed to a banner stand with optional accessories. A tamper-proof front plate lock and secure battery compartment keep the device protected in public-facing locations.

Powered your way

Run it on six AA lithium batteries for up to a year of typical use, or use a USB-C power supply for continuous operation. Two-way communication mode requires a direct power supply.

Customisable, configurable, controlled

Record and upload your own voice messages through the PC programming tool. Adjust volume from levels 1 to 10. Enable channel escalation so unanswered calls automatically jump to a different channel or department. Every behaviour can be tuned to suit your workflow.
